Parking Lot murder

Hi;
Back a couple of years ago I saw on the CBC national news a story of an individual who was killed by his car in an outdoor parking lot. The story also included surveillance video of a jeep entering and then leaving the same parking lot around the time of the shooting. Does anyone remember the same story and if they do- did any thing more come out later-on that I might have missed?
