MI5 MI6 no MI17

hello all

ive been wondering for some time what the role of MI17 was or still is,

I know most MI depts were dispanded after WW2,but i cant find any info on what this departments role was ,

And are there any MI depts still going?or merged? other than MI5 and 6?

Mi7 was the department which was responsible for information control and propaganda its main responsibility was censorship during the Second World War. It became defunct after the war.

Accoring to wikipedia, it was also featured in 'Johnny English' and the childrens Tv show 'Chuckle vsision'.

no dude u miss read MI 17 not 7 wikki has info on all but not much on 17 just says it was secretariat.

Im just curious about other uk agencies,that arent known about
