My Week...My Weakness

How is everyone keeping?
Well I got some news for y'all.

Some of you will know me by the name of Brad.
Those same people will know I have a beautiful Pride and Joy in life.

Anyways, It's all smashed up now. It can barely be sold as junk metal.

Well I was cruising along a road when I hit the corner of a round-about. One and a half somersaults, and several meters later I find myself on the ground, rolling to avoid the 200kg bike close behind me.(not to mention the falling shards of debris). So I got up and casually staggered to the edge of the road. Witnesses say they have never seen anything like it. I'm lucky to be alive. (obviously they didn't know who I am...You cant keep THE BRAD down!) Anyway, twenty minutes later the ambulance arrived and took me to hospital. There, they put my in a neck-brace, cut off my clothes and spent a few hours doing some tests on my neck and back. They say It's a miracle I have no spinal injuries. (once again, they had no idea who I was!)
After 12 Xrays, 15 stitches, 2 operations (one being botched completely) and 4 days In hospital, I was told that I need to stay home for a minimum of 6 weeks. The following is a list of damage:
Clavical snapped clean in half.
(After the crash i was pulling on my arm, thinking It was dislocated)
Deep lacerations into the muscles at bottom-rear of my left leg.
Some Lacerations and minor fractures to my right knee-cap.
Several fractures to some ribs on the right.
One sever burn to each leg.
A sprained left ankle.
Several minor burns.
About a thousand scratches on the left leg.

All up I'm in pretty good health. Once I'm healed up, and saved up again, I'm gonna get another bike. Can't keep me down!

sorry to hear your bad news...your bike was well sexy as well.

as an ex racer and road rider ive had some nasty spills but what always hurts most is seeing your bike trashed.

i hope you get better soon and just be glad your not dead..lol
