The Colorado Information Analysis Center (CIAC) will act as a "clearinghouse for terrorist threat information," making Colorado the 42nd state in the country to have a central location to fight terrorism.
"One person can make a difference," said Col. Mark Trostel, Chief of the Colorado State Patrol. "The new website will enable all of Colorado's residents to report suspicious activity. We fully recognize it takes a concerted effort by all citizens to keep terrorism at bay in our country."
The website and a 24-hour phone line will be staffed by three full-time State Patrol officers.
