Pope's Message on the Environment

This is short, but I thought ya'll might like to read it. It's a message the pope gave on the environment yesterday. Short .. and to the point. I think it was part of a longer speech but THIS is the part about the environment.

He's made other statements about taking care of the environment, but this is the latest. He likes to make mention of it in his speeches. Calls to Catholics, and everyone else, to take care of the earth.

I am glad to see finally that the Church is taking a stance and speaking up for its flock to join the race to take care of this planet. It shows progression of insight and awareness within the church.

Now if only we could get the Protestant sectors, especially the very right wing ones, to stop using revelation and end of the world dogma as an excuse to ignore or not care about the planet and its creatures.
