My Browser is Firefox version info:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6

OS Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 System pack 2

I have tried and tried. Reinstalled and rebooted a couple times to no avail. Always get this dialog box when accessing Flash applets on web pages:

I'm thinking there is a security setting somewhere that has Macromedia Flash disabled, but I can't find it, if it is.

hey Mechanic....

I have had that SAME problem with ''Macromedia Flash not detected'' now for so long, that I just forget about it.

I use IE as well as Firfox.......depending on what i need it for.

I tried deleting, reinstalling and all that i needed to do.......but has done nothing.
I even tried reinstalling firefox......nothing!

I have windows 98 installed and thought that , that 98 would be the problem, but it can't be..

Good luck, wish I could help.......I'm sure someone here could help?

I think I may have tried 'google' to see if others have had the same problem, and it seems there are a few, but they did not help.
best of luck.

Do you use Adblock or FlashBlock?

In here they speak of some problems when using these.

Thank you ArMap.

I had upgraded my version of FlashBlock here: downloads.mozdev.org...

Link provided for those who may be having similar problem.
