Actually, thinking about this and applying your arguments, you obviously think the US invasion in Afghanistan, and subsequent actions in Iraq following 9/11 were not justified?

Am I right?

No you are wrong. The US invasion on Afghanistan, gracious host of Al-qaida, provided a safe haven under an islamic regime for future acts of attrocity on the entire world - not only the US. The Taliban regime was backward and dangerous on a local and global level. Are you suggesting that Afghanistan and the Irish republic are parallel to one another?

Regarding Iraq, the invasion of Iraq was questionable. I do not know the actual motives and reasons behind the invasion (putting aside the stories in the media that are never a true and complete story). Therefore I do not wish to give an opinion.
