Chinese paranormal

Does anyone know the religion of the chinese person that protested when the chinese president and Bush had a press conference a few months ago? This religion was banned in china and the protester was protesting due to this.

I believe they practiced many paranormal like abilities?

This is merely speculation, it may be the Falun Gong religion. However, Communist Countries are not usually religion friendly as it causes such awful things like group gatherings, and hope.
