i overdid. i drank way too much last night, and now i'm seeking a cure from the nausea accompanying the totally awesome hangover i've acquired.

is pepto bismol as bad an idea as i think it is?

Usually the best thing for me, is to drink half a liter of water, wait 5 minutes, and then put a finger in my throat to get everything up. The water loosens up down there, and removes any excess acid.

Then after a few minutes, I usually get it quite better.

Yes! I would not drink pepto right now if I were you. I agree with Thain. Your best bet is to just let it come up and be done with it. Once it's over you'll feel better.

When I suffer from hang-overs, I do what Thain suggested... drink LOTS of water, wait abit then stick your head over the toilet and shove your fingers down your throat.

It sounds rank, but it's well worth it.
