What's up with the dog on ATS?

What's up with the dog on ATS? I see some Mods and Administrators with a dog on their avatar! I also saw that on ATS, on the title ATS it had a picture of the dog! I think its a yorkie but I don't know for sure. Its very hairy though. For those that don't know just go to ATS and you will see the dog at the top of the page by the letters ATS. I'm just curious to know what is so special about this dog as I think it must be special if the Admins, Mods, and ATS page wear it.
