Dehargs Introduction

Hi All,

Just some things about me. I am older than I want to be, I know less than I want to know.
I have formal scientific training in Physiology and Pharmacology and because I liked it so much I then got some more in Microbiology as well. I am interested in science topics of all sorts but my passion is aviation, history/ present and future. I do not own an anorak and I do not know the location of the service road of every RAF station (the few that remain that is).
I have some (quite a few) book cases filled with aviation books ( yes I am that old), I toyed briefly with Rocketry and Missiles (cold war interest) but came back to the first love aviation.
I promise not to argue (honest) with Waynos.

DeHarg, let me say that you are most welcome here on ats! We need people with a decent education in aerospace fields, including rocketry. But also, you have to get into at least a few debates!

Thanks for that, I am a firm believer in the university of life. I admit this was not the case with my fresh degree certificates in my sweaty mitts, but life has mellowed me a little.
