Thanks, was just frustrated, because I wrote a damn page of things then go to post, and it says no. They should post that in the description of collaborative fiction, so people know that don't normally post here.

The easiest way to get writers status is to enter a writing contest. Once you enter, writers status is granted even if you can't string two coherent sentences together.

The bad news is the current writing contest ended at midnight last night and it might be a few weeks before the next contest comes along.

The only other way to get writers status is to ask WorldWatcher, though one of the other supermods may feel sorry for you and grant it.

In the meantime, you might consider the short stories forum. You don't need writers status to post there.
