I saw a rod go through an orb

i know this sounds funny or really weird but i was just relaxing out on my balconey this evening when i saw this orb out to the west, it was going up almost vertically, when i saw this rod just shoot out from the side and go right through this orb, the orb then blinked once and faded out, it was a light yellow color, like cream color

Rods have been disproved as any sort of ufo type phenomena, they're just bugs that blur on camera because the speed of the film isn't set right.
