Honest Feedback needed !!

Ok people, I'm thinking about writting a litle book, nothing special... sooo....say if you were at a book shop or internet book surfing and you saw a book what title would sound catchier to you ?more appealing ? this book is a true story, based on my life.


1) Last smoke in Paris

2) I smoked my last one in Paris

3) Between Flights

4) Long Distance Flights

5) Me, Paris and my last smoke

and if you think they all are crappy, please do say so as well...lol

5, 4 and 2 are definatly out....but 1 and 3 are awesome...especially 3.

IMO the most compelling title is:

1) Last smoke in Paris

1 and 3 are the best. Out of those two, I would choose 1.

No. 3 works but I think you can do better.

How bout a little snippet of the text so we can get a feel for your writing style.

I always have an editor help me with my titles, as they have a sense of marketing as I am marketing challenged.

the first title is the best of the lot but maybe not the best for the book you want to write. The first title is the right idea though, short, easy to say and remember too.

I still like number 3....but I guess that's cause Im an ex-smoker and I can relate to the 'lay over' smoke breaks

Getting off a 10 hour flight the only thing on my mind was where's the smoking lounge...lol.

And then I would always try to go back minutes before boarding to get in that last smoke break before the flight.

Also the most interesting converstaions take place in airport smoking lounges.

Well they are all okay, No1 doing it more justice butI think you can spruce it up a notch.
How about you use a different word like drag or fag etc /
like One last drag in Paris or something like that.

and the winner is "Last Smoke in Paris "... tho between Flights was pretty close... but "Last Smoke in Paris" also fits better with the how life changes message and all that... Thnak you Thank You !!!!

and now i'll have to think of something for the otehr title "Between Flights"
