I think you're mistaken. Harrison Ford is going to star last I heard.

There is no Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford.

I do see your point though. He is getting a little long in the tooth. Dude's face is starting to look like a sharpei.

the character and actor in such role are timeless...

It would be like getting someone different than Clint Eastwood to play the role in a new Dirty Harry movie.. the roles may as well been written for them.

(*Thanks to Bukaroo for the inspiration for my post)

Good point , hows this for a plot , indie gets dragged out of retirement , for one last quest , his new apprentice or maybe son ? go on a quest for some thing that eluded indie and old timer indie has to save him, similar to the role that sean connery played in the other indiana jones film.

You bring up an interesting point Klep. I'm not sure with the rampant unoriginality in Hollywood these days that in ten years they don't try to remake these movies with some up-and-comer. Although I agree with your statement completely, nothing is sacred in Hollywood anymore.

The plot's already been revealed. Actually it's a little strange because it correlates to end of times prophecy.

Can't wait for Indiana Jones 4!

Should be called Indiana Jones and Hurry The Hell Up.

Isn't it funny how Sean Connery doesn't seem to have aged whereas Harrison Ford looks like he's been living in a bin since the Last Crusade.

I stumbled upon a possible script for Indiana Jones 4.
It hits very close to home.
Too bad it was rejected.
It's here:

www.monkeyheaven.com...

It was actually pretty good, save for a few stunts that have already been done.
It actually has the flair of an Indy movie, while I was reading it, I was really able to visualize it.
Like I said, too bad it was rejected.
