CVN 21 has not been laid out in the bottom of DryDock 12 as of yet. There is currently another carrier in Dry Dock 12 the USS George Bush.

Any pictures you see will be artists renderings. While steel has already been laid out and worked for initial sections of this carrier CVN21 it is not yet much at which to view.

yes they are artists renditions of how they think the ship will look.

The keel of CVN21 is not yet laid in the bottom of DryDock 12 as of yet. The condition of this ship is that steel is still being laid out and patterned outside of the dock in different areas of this shipyard. Material being ordered as certain construction events or markers approach.

The ship coming up to the flight deck under construction ...currently in DryDock 12 is the George Bush. When she comes out and is waterborn arrangements will be made for the keel laying ceremony of CVN 21.
