ICQ problem

Everytime I starting Windows, the ICQ will run with Windows simultaneously, which cause I have to waite for a long time to control the operation system,. who can teach me how to let the ICQ run by handed qperation by setting regedit for example. Or maybe the ICQ has a bottom I can setting?
