In recent news, an award winning android has dissapeared!

english.aljazeera.net...

Apparently, it has run away! Could this be the beginning of runaway AI?

The future is nigh!

I doubt it ran away, Stolen would seem a bit more apt. Or maybe its still riding the conveyor system at one of our airpots. Some airport hack probably has it at his kitchen table right now and is getting drunk and having a merry old conversation

Still, I love the movie Blade Runner. I hope they find it soon.

Well, if this is true, than it's one of the most unique news stories I've read this month.

Would'nt it be funny if they find it walking down some street in San Francisco quoting the authors books, or in some jail cell, because it was mumbling/quoting and acting basically crazy, and a cop arrested it.

Though that's highly unlikely, I think it would be uotrageously funny.

What do you do with a stolen android??

Depends, is it an anatomically correct android?

Ok, more serious, you could do lots of things, half of which I wont mention, because I don't feel like being banned or warned.
But, the more innocent things, you could use it to entertain guests.

I don't think it can walk the walk, that it can only talk the talk.

Essentially, I believe this robot does not have walking software, or even leg motors, or even arm motors! I think it's just the face and the mouth that move.

So don't worry, no runaways yet! He has likely just been seriously misplaced.
