The problem with countries with forced Islamic law

The countries that want or have Islamic law in politics seems to have missed something.

They want to force everyone into living a Muslim life. I don't see anything wrong with being a Muslim, if one chooses to live like that, but to force others to live that kind of a life seems a bit off.

"I am going to heaven because I was forced to live a good Muslim life, not because I chose to."

In these countries where Islam is the law, makes for many to follow it out of fear of punishment instead because they chose to follow it.

You cannot MAKE someone genuinely follow a path spiritually, one must choose to on their own or it is a wasted effort.
