Has anyone been experiencing more electric shocks recently? It's fairly common where I live. It used to be very rare but now it's more like at least one a day on average. I'm just curious about why this is happening?

Static electricty ? More common in the winter, so I've heard.

Seems about normal here in N/W Arizona.

Use care when discharging yourself, I blew away an HP optical mouse when I touched it before touching anything else.

I have been getting shocked about twice per day here in Missouri. It is kind of weird now that you mention it.

It could be the winter or something connected to the winter, but I don't remember anything in this frequency. I also heard that this week is the most depressing time of the year, probably because of the absense of natural light.
This reminds me of when I was using a plama globe to shock my friend. I over did it and he ended up having a strnage taste in his mouth for ages.
