What is the ID SNIPERTM rifle?

It is used to implant a GPS-microchip in the body of a human being, using a high powered sniper rifle as the long distance injector. The microchip will enter the body and stay there, causing no internal damage, and only a very small amount of physical pain to the target. It will feel like a mosquito-bite lasting a fraction of a second. At the same time a digital camcorder with a zoom-lense fitted within the scope will take a high-resolution picture of the target. This picture will be stored on a memory card for later image-analysis.

Its like somthin off the 'Enemy of the state' or 'Mission Impossible'.

Who would use this weapon? The Police? The CIA or some other Government service?

a round of those dimensions could never have such performance like 1100KM, that diameter is even smaller than any kind of airgun and ammunition of this size would lose velocity faster than you can say 'gun'.

I'd say this is probably just a uneducated idea for a business venture.

There's no way an object shaped like that will make 1100 meters. A bullet has a very specific shape, and very specific tolerances. That thing would be like trying to shoot a brick out of a canon, and get it to go farther than 100 feet.

1100 m hhmmm ......in a agravitational vacuum chamber.... but the concept of implanting microchips for surveillance purpose is definitely something that wouldn't surprise me the least . It has already been done but with consent.

the ammount of information carried in id cards , credit and debit cards make your daily activities easily trackable anyway. The next generation id cards might have rfid chips on top of biometrics (new passports carry a whole set of biometric information here) .... a brave new world it is indeed
