Tiananmen square

I just remembered about this, and the way that woman stood up to those tanks, but what happened after that? All anyone ever says is like, there was a bit of dissent, the army killed the rioters and one woman stood up to them. What happened then?

The person blocking that line of tanks heading to Tiananmen Square was reportedly a man, nicknamed "tank man". According to what I've read nobody really know the identity of that person. Some claim he was executed shortly after the event, others say he's still alive and hidding some place. I saw several different people interviewed on TV, including both men and women, pretending to be that person, I think they were just impostors cheating their way to 15 minutes of fame.
