I have a handy photography trick I've been using a bit lately. If you don't have a good light setup and are fairly close to your subject but need some better lighting, fold up a sheet of paper a few times and put it in front of the flash on your camera. (It's best if it doesn't touch the flash but is about an inch away, in my experience) The light that hits the subject directly will be softened considerably, and a large amount of light will be bounced backwards to bounce off the walls and other objects to hit the subject from the sides. If used in a small room or a closet, it can give a nice global illumination effect and if you set up some white sheets of paper in different places, you can direct the light to get some nice light/dark areas.

HOme made slime

Elmers glue, warm water, borax.

Mix glue half and half with warm water, in a rectangular pan.
Mix Borax half and half with warm water also..in a measureing cup.

SLowly pour the borax, into the glue mixture in the pan, don't stir it too much.

Put your hands in the mixture, and pull out the slime...

Looks good when dyed a brownish-green..LOL

Cool, I've always known it as:

Red sky at night,
Shepherd's delight,
Red sky in the morning,
Shepherd's warning.

Deadly serious

Alot of people would never believe me, so we videotaped it. Im not really sure where the tape is to this day, but I swear to you that this is the truth. We see it every day so I guess its not really a big deal to me anymore, but still gives me a laugh when people are over and watch us wait in line for the bathroom while she is in their.

Your cat can use the bathroom?

I wish my cat could do that, then I wouldn't have to change her kitty litter.

I just recently picked up another pet, a kitten that is only about 12 weeks old. And man o man when I change that kitty litter I am gagging at no end. I have never had to change a littler box, so this is a whole new experience and my god I hope he can learn from the other cat.

I wondered if they communicate back and forth and what they'd say. Wouldn't it be crazy if the younger kitten learned to use the bathroom from the older cat. I have been keeping an eye on it and maybe someday. Probably too small to do it yet, but in the future.
