Question about background images.

It's a little embarresing having to ask this, but how do I get rid of my background image? I want to get it so that it just shows the black background color, but purchasing the new color didn't seem to work. I've also tried deleting the upload where I have the image, but it didn't work. So does anybody know how to do this without buying a new image and coloring it all black?

I never mess with BG images, but I think you simply buy a blank one (as in don't put anything in).

Yesterday I got rid of my background image by deleting the file from my upload center.

I dunno if you got it right, but what you do is this: buy the BG image again, and, where you would normally put the image file name, put the hex code for the color you want as your background.
