learning machine

I read a aticle on a dulce base officer a while back and remember something about a learning machine.

it was basically that you would fall asleep and images or somethings would be projected to ur dreams, and you would know them.

does anyone have any other info on this.

Actually i just figured out that it wasnt the matrix it was battle feild earth. check it out its a great movie.
