One Army officer said: "We now have a situation where British
servicemen may be prosecuted while IRA terrorists who carried out

good to see that the UK press have , finally got thier teeth into the absurdities of current government policy on NI - namely the spectre that terroists will recieve virtual absolution for thier crimes or alledged crimes . while service personell can expect the full weight of the law in all cases

not really much more to add , other than the fact that i believe we should follow the example of the south african truth commissions , at least they gave pardons to both sides , with former south african state security forces recieving immunity from prosecution for torture / murder in exchange for confession

why cant the Uk govenment do the same ???
