And again, I am reminded of Mussolini's explanation:

Communism is when the government owns the corporations; fascism is when the corporations own the government.

Mussolini knew what he was talking about. And unfortunately, corporate capitalism leads directly to fascism. It's all about winning.

The founding fathers understood the dangers and created legal restrictions to prevent monopolies. But all those checks and balances have been dismantled and destroyed.
