Strikethrough

Any reason the bbcode for strikethrough text can not be used? I find use for it when editing or crossing out dead end leads and such; rewrites...

I would assume that the site admin can turn certain BBcode functions on or off. Strikethru does not seem to be one that is available.

This is probably for a very good reason.

We already have problems reading posts due to people using the "bold" and "italic" options so damn often. They love it and strikethrough would only make it worse...

In fact, the amount of posts I can't read due to the fact they are filled with bold/italic posts and I would rather not see a bold, italic, strikethrough spam that would end up happening. It results in more time by the mods being wasted on the muppets that love to put everythnig in bold.

Also, it looks crap to be honest.

Yeah I thought about that after I made the post... They probly dont use it because of abuse or post langths...
