Shady Bard have to be my most favourite band of all time, their not well known but they do have a loyal following.

Although their my favourite band I still haven't gone to any of their gigs, my ''sources'' however tell me that Shady Bard are amazing on stage.

Shady Bard

shady bard write and produce songs and sounds in their own makeshift home studio and play extensively round Birmingham and beyond. They are:

Lawrence – guitars, piano and vocals
Tom – guitars, ebow and bass
Olly – drums and percussion
Jasmin – violin, casiotone, horn and vocals
Alex – cello, piano and vocals

Their demo of ‘Bobby’ has been played on Radio 2 and received Demo of the Week from Channel 4 Teletext's Planet Sound who found it 'quietly magical'. The Fly called it ‘unsurpassable beauty’. They are set to appear on Radio 4’s Loose Ends and have a release pencilled in for the autumn.

Their music is very mellow, calm and its never fails to put a smile on your face. You can listen to a few of their tracks via their website.
