Dead Jump Drive

My jump drive is dead; It's a 1GB jump drive and it will not be recoginized with a drive letter; It is only recognized as usb storage; I was transfering some files and it stopped said it could not write to the disk and has not worked since; Any advise?

Any more info?

How about the Brand of the drive, and the OS you are running?
Have you installed any other USB devices?

Multiple OS's; It's from Geek Squad; All other USB devices work;

I'm sorry,

I meant, have you installed any NEW USB devices..

And it's not working under multiple OS's (same computer, or different ones?)
