al qaeda top leutinents?

I see this ever so often on the news ect, Coalition forces catptured a top al qaeda top leutinent

My question is, is there a place that has names and pictures of these people we are looking for, that turn out to be al qaeda top leutinents, I mean if these guys were so big a deal wouldnt we have heard of them before they were actualy captured?

I just get the feeling the guys we are capturing are reg grunt terrorists that are played up....

I agree, they are prolly just regular grunts.. but CLAIM to be top figures.

Alqaedas supposid training manual says in the event you are caught you lie and decieve to throw off the enemy in every way possible.

If enough head honcho's or alqaeda in iraq are caught... and zaqawi isnt heard from in a long time..

one would start believing the war has been won.... yes?
But if regular grunts get caught and there leaderships appears to remain untacked... then it would probably just continue to drive the coallition.

It could be that we've been so successful at getting these guys, that yesterday's grunt is today's lieutenant.

One can only hope.
