The bombers were unlikely to be working alone, is the message being given by the police. The hunt is now on for a fifth man that may have masterminded the operation and supplied the bombs.

There are fears tonight that a fifth terror suspect may be hiding out in London, Sky News has been told.


Detectives believe he either made the bombs or masterminded Britain's first suicide strikes.

They say it is unlikely the four bombers were working on their own.

And they fear more volunteers may be ready to give up their lives in the name of militant Islam.

This was pretty obvious I feel, but the scary thing is that it is likely there are many many more, maybe even connected with this incident.
One way or another, over time we will find out.

Just read this....no idea whether theres any truth in the claims that police had these guys then let them go again....but i wonder if this is France just trying cause trouble coz they are still pissed at not getting the Olympics!
