Is there really a way of making people do what you want with hypnotic speech while it all seems like some everyday conversation?

As for normal person to person communication? Ever seen a stage hypnotist at work? Seems it doesn't take much to send some people under.

Have a look for a guy called "Derren Brown"

I've got a couple of dvd's and often he'll go over how he did it.

He's very good at implanting suggestion during everyday conversation.

Apparently, Brown can tell you for just 3, yes only 3! payments of not 200$, not even 100 dollars, but 99.99! What a bargain!

Go have a look on google, there is loads of stuff about him.

I'll give you an example.

In one of the videos (it was on tv as well) he's on the London under ground.
He walks up to some one and starts talking to them. After a few questions and misdirection he asks the what stop there going to. Almost with out fail they cant remember. He achieves this by the way he talks to them

The line he says is

"So thinking about it, which stop, thinking about it, are you going to?"

He says it in such a way that the "stop thinking about it" part is emphasised and subconsciously the person he's talking to takes it in as a command and stops thinking about what stop there going to.

He has a varity of ways for using this same trick. As i said have a look on google

either that or get his DVD. You can work out how he's done it by watching the tricks a million times (like me)

But yes, it is very easy to get people to want to do as you wish. Even make them think it's their idea.

I'm completely fascinated with this subject. I know you can buy books, but are there any sources online with free, in depth, "how-to" information on techniques such as the ones Derren Brown uses? I wish I had more to contribute to this thread... Unfortunately, people are generally greedy with this type of information, so it's hard to find out anything about it.

If you have the money for it, why the hell not? It's not like you can't talk people out of their money to refill the bank. Besides, I'd rather do that than spend my whole life in Freemasonry, just to learn the same "Ancient Secrets."

BTW, David Blaine can "Levitate". Could this be another "Ancient Secret"? Do we all have it in us to do so too?
