I'm writing this because my verse is considered too short to post by itself.
The best verse in my thinking is:

Jesus wept.

This is one of my favorites; it brings me a lot of hope.

Matthew 17:20

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move.

I know it's four verses, not one, but it tells you everything you need to know.

Matthew 22:37-40 (King James Version)

I also like "Jesus wept" too, because it shows Jesus had a human side to him, too.

(As a side note, while I think this thread will generate some extremely interesting discussion, I don't believe it belongs under 'conspiracies in religion'.)

That one is so famous lol, my friend who is agnostic/athesist even knows that verse lol.

But I was looking through the bible and I liked John 1:1
(In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God)

Ecclesiastes 7:5 - It is better to heed a wise man's rebuke
than to listen to the song of fools.

Tough to accomplish but it makes sence.
