Hello all,

I thought it might be a good time for a simple thread where we can all show off our animal companions. I know that the subject matter has been heavy on ATS recently, rightfully so. There is an awful lot to be morose about with the constant warmongering and so many innocent people caught in the crossfire. It isn't fair.

So, let's have a thread full of the loving faces of all of our furry friends, and help remind each other that all happiness is not lost!

This is my dog, his name is Mulder.

Mulder with his Night-Night Dino:

Here is Sir Catterwhompus III Esquire:

Him enjoying a nice glass of wine after a busy day of eating and napping:

Back to napping:

Here is Valjean:

Finally, here is Baphomet (Wife got to name this one):

So unload your cute pet pics here, double points for silly ones!

Dori AKA mama cat

Kory AKA the snacker ( hims loves snacks!)

BIll. AKA Wild Bill, Galaxy Bill( he has these little white patches of fur all over his back, Billy Boy. He is the most social of all three. He flops onto his side and rolls back a little when you address him from a standing position. If he is laying he will rub his head on the ground and make air biscuits! Love my fur babies!

Those are all beautiful creatures in a loving home.

I already posted this elsewhere and she's not my pet, but recently caught her in my local shopping centre... Her name is Nina.

This is Bunky, AKA "the Bunk" At first we thought him to be a Sealpoint Siamese, but after only a few short weeks we realized he was all that and also "Balanese"

Don't know if I spelled that correctly, but his fur is like an explosion in a mattress factory.
He follows us all over the house, sleeps with me every night and even when I do woodworking in my shop he crawls up and falls asleep next to me. This is a people cat for sure. And quite beautiful.

Those dogs look so kind, they look like best friends to me. Mr. Peabody looks like he has a fun personality, what's his favorite word?

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah those pups love each other.

Peabody actually speaks in short sentences a lot of the time, he’ll say…

Look at the baby birdie
Momma loves baby birdie
Gotta go to bed
Night night boo boo bear
Peabody is a good Quaker

My welfare cats, Bubba and Mama Kitty.

Mama is as feral as they come; it took over a year before she'd let us pet her briefly. She's been a 'porch kitty' with Bubba for 3 years now; before that she lived hid in the backyard under our deck for 2/3 years.

Bubba is much more social; he likes to sit with me by the pond.

Mama kitty used to get beat up a lot until Bubba came along. We tried to find him a home for 2/3 months, not wanting to start a cat farm-but nobody wanted him and he was so good at protecting her that we just gave in and built them heated condos for the winter.

Nine year old Smoosh, enjoy Granddaughters visit-cause she always brings something he can climb into-like her duffle bag.

Or her new boots...

Hiding from us; he's in attack mode here.

Taking a much needed nap. He sleeps pretty soundly....

I say he's a good cat; hubby says it's just an act, and brought me 'proof' of his wild side.

And finally, 'He has beauty, he has grace; he smooshed the lens with his face'.

Oatmeal (white nose) and Yeti (lionhead) - they were born outside to parents that had been dumped in a local park. Oatmeal is about 95% domesticated but Yeti is still very feral, maybe 50% domesticated. They helped me get through COVID lockdowns, it was nice to have their company!

Another outside kittie, Missie Anne, who had many kittens we took to the local animal shelter to find homes:

I used to have a Flemish Giant, and two smaller rabbits. The two I got were left in a carrier at a park. I miss having bunny energy in my house.

Abby, AKA Princess: She is the old lady of the house and nobody messes with her. She is daddy's girl.

Oscar (dog) and Chucky, Oscar is also call "broken dog" by the hubby, since he has to be touching me when I am at home. Chucky is now a year and a half old, half as big as Oscar, and torments Oscar to no end.
