Being a "conspiracy" forum in this day and age is difficult since most so called conspiracies are political issues related.

I hear people complain that there is too many political issues on the site but damn, between Global governance, world control schemes, and blatant social engineering, corruption at the highest levels, war on women and children, that is where most of the hot issues are going on.

Amen to that, it is difficult these days like you say on a conspiracy forum. Part of the cause may be that the biggest conspiracy is hiding the truth anyway from as many people as possible ... a conspiracy which spans all those popular issues, in addition to many MANY more

part of the problem is that certain groups overtly politicize EVERYTHING and spin to their advantage.

Imagine a cabal of defense contractors and reactionaries in the 1950s concluding that they could use the UFO issue to their advantage. USA must be defended! Vote Republican or you're an alien sympathizer!
they would either nudge political allies to advance the narrative, or find and support operatives that already felt that way. friendly media people would create and run stories about the Alien Menace. It would be the major major issue of the day.

so naturally anyone wanting to discuss, and maybe debunk, the UFO issue would be drawn in the political scene.
