The UN IPCC and the WEF you can trust them they are wonderful people who only have or best interest at heart. It's not all about wealth transfer at all that's just a dangerous far right conspiracy theory...

Now pay your climate reparations and eat your bugs and enjoy your energy poverty with wonderful renewables. We must stop the dreaded carbons or it will be "climate collapse!". It's not the biggest scam in history you can trust them 110% they said so on TV...

we have seen times like this before in human history; take a look at the history of the Byzantine Empire. Population went from something like 50 million to 10 million in 200 years due to plague. The economy and trade values plummeted as the plague hit the port cities the worst.

When I look at periods of true "progress" in human history the one common denominator was that talented people looked to enriching people's lives by way of their committment to being part of something much larger and more noble than their own selves. The Renaissance is an example. Great works of art were sponsored by wealthy patrons intent on giving glory to God and values based upon their religious beliefs. The industrial revolution where people looked to harnessing steam power to unite what they believed would be a great nation, (the trans-continental railways).

I had the privilege of participating in a simple event, working at food bank distribution in my small town, where I saw how relatively uneducated, but dedicated young men and women came together to achieve great things during WWII. How you might ask? No one really "knew" what to do as the Food Bank truck was being unloaded, but an elderly fellow started barking orders, grabbing people up into teams of 2 or 3 and gave each team a simple task which they pursued to completion. Within an hour, boxes of stuff were being distributed to passing vehicles. It wasn't rocket science. The greater tasks of WWII, like supplying the frontline troops wasn't rocket science. It was just people coming together to complete the little bit of task they were charged with.

But faith is hard to argue against, and the ideologues who must tell us we are all going to die, say so based upon no small amount of faith in modelling. And their 'accreditation' by the amplifiers will necessarily reject anything that speaks to a contrary faith.

That's not how the science works, is it? Speaking to contrarian believers isn't really up their alley with an audience that decided to use an entirely different language.

In what world are "models" ever completely accurate?

We seem to be getting there, slowly ripping through one optimist model after another. In hindsight, we can clearly see how the more pessimist models did provide the more accurate picture.

That's why any caution whatsoever went out the window a while ago, and rightly so.
