Thanks and thanks.

I am going to buy his book as he seems to have a better understanding of Mitochondrial "disturbances" relating to food than my specialist doctors do.

You may recall I collapsed last November and was taken to Urgent Care. Blood Pressure and Glucose was seriously elevated. I was told to make a lifestyle change.

I have since counted "added sugar" and have maintained same. My weight was 219 now 211 @ 6' 1" . Blood pressure is not bad. I had tremors and the shakes. So much I could not engage the screw driver bit into the screw the 1st time. Now, none, NO shakes no tremors. My glucose dropped 18%

I continue to work out. I played basketball at the county gym today. I work it as I can run full speed and dribble with both hands without looking at the ball. I did my 60 minutes. I do that instead of jogging cause its fun.

Now I have to work on the red wine. I since swapped over to Riunite @ 8% alcohol down from 15% of other brands.

For them to totally figure me out I need a genetics test not covered by insurance. It would cost me $8,000+ out of pocket with no promise of being cured.

I still have the test kits on a shelf from 2016.

There is no way I would pay eight grand for a full genome test and a reading which they feel is relevant....I spent the best part of a few years studying what the genetic snps meant and if they were actually relevant...they are just a guide, there is not enough research out there to properly assess results yet, hopefully someday they will figure out the relationship between all the epigenetic differences and combine them into accurate gensets to evaluate correctly.

Epigenetics is directly related to diet and ability to metabolize and detox food chemistries and of course presence of environmental factors......They just have not figured it out well yet, It will take many years more of research to utilize this information properly. But that won't stop them from telling people they can figure it out...but they are overconfident...there is a real lot more to learn to be able to properly utilize the genetics properly.

But, you can get some idea even from the ancestry data and studying the research on genetics and diseases from your ancestors home area in the world which usually tells you about environmental factors and available foods. I have a lot of time studying all this stuff and I can only give possible diet adjustments to make to fix health issues.
