Let's just ban Chicago and be done with it.

240+ people shot in January. Almost 8 everyday. Greetings from the wasteland.

btw, I actually downloaded gta5 and played though story mode just a few weeks ago (haven’t tried online yet).

Honestly, I seriously don’t think it was influencing any kind of real world criminal activity, as far as I can tell.

Personally, for me, it just made me wish I was still a 17 year old stoner... because, maybe then I could have actually appreciated the story.

... lol.

Couldn't possibly be a parenting problem.

Posting a clip of a coked out alcoholic comedian, for the purpose of expressing wisdom on a political topic... is probably a really good indication that society as a whole is going down hill, real fast.

They shouldn't ban it but instead put a warning sticker on it that says something like, 'Rated M for Mature'.

It's always the game's fault, not the parents'...

Impressive numbers!

Your local government must be well pleased!

Going downhill ? We're on the steep part of the slope and picking up speed.

Wait until you find out about Bill Hicks, never mind George Carlin.

So banning a game is going to stop hardened killers and criminals from committing crimes in Chicago....

Sadly this is the current level of reasoning in Chicago's leadership authorities. And this is why crime will just go up even higher. Because of stupid human leadership running things in big cities, who are also far over paid, who's egos skyrocket, while their intellect plummets.

It all makes sense after understanding that.

Yes, same as for music and TV shows.

The banning of the original GTA is what got me to play it. Great advertising if you ask me. great game too. Im not to fond of the way the series ultimately went to, but the original was a great bit of fun.

GTA is great because you can go home a do all the stuff you'd like to do to the A$$h0l3s on the road. A great stress reliever. BTW, I sourced a new color of yarn.
