Humans, one big lab experiment??

Could it be that we are just an experiment in some lab of some alien species, sort of in the same way we would grow bacteria in a lab.

Obviously we see a big wide Universe out there but maybe we just dont have the ability to see the outside of "the jar". I know this sounds far fetched and probably way out there as a theory, but does a bacteria know it is being grown for test purposes?

Could those flashes of lights in the sky, UFO's, abductions just be the scientist checking on his latest experiment?

Sorry if this post is just way off the wall, but i would like to hear peoples opinion on this

No, sorry, thats not what i mean. I mean as an example that we are a universe in a jar. For example like in men in black where we are a universe within a universe
