There are many conspiracies in the world. However, one thing
is certain about them. Most can not be conclusively proved
to be true nor can they be proved false. However, with some
of the more 'dangerous' conspiracies out there what is being
done to combat them besides bitching about them on message
boards and getting requests denied through the FOIA? If
someone, or a group of people, truly believe they are being
harmed or in imminent threat logic should dictate that
something to prevent harm should be done right? Does anyone
have information on this? It would lead much more credibility
to those that claim they are being violated. I'm not saying
people are or they aren't but I am concerned that it's just
a bunch of wasted speech if people don't organize and
actually do something to fight against it.

I agree with your sentiments.

It is very apparent, for example, that the majority of netizens at this community have never read the pre-determined PNAC/Bush agenda, which included the plans to invade the Middle East for strategic US purposes (documented in 1998-99) and which became much more ready for implementation after the 'Pearl Harbour' events of 9/11, after which 'president' George W Bush said "we have hit the trifecta".

The mainstream media will support this administration until their shareholders know they will not be damaged by not supporting it.

Objective informational media will present all the facts available and allow readers to make their own assessment.

As far as a call to action goes, I think most people at this site are happier to talk than to act, with the exception of a few that promote some sort of combined or pooled effort. Most rebuttals are based on excuses or the need to preserve the status quo. I find some of the people here particularly uninspiring, but we are all equally entitled to say things of substance or of little consequence.

I do consider, however, that influencing people's opinion or widening their experience through exposing them to things they would otherwise not read or contemplate, is a worthwhile endeavor.

By the way, are you a 'newbie' or an old hand with a different hat on?

I think the main problem is the lack of information.
Without solid info on any of the conspiracies, you can't act against them.
Until something happens to turn the conspiracy into a crisis, it will remain a conspiracie, and to be honest, I don't think you should act purely on conspiracy, as G.W. Bush proved with the Iraq war.......There's little you can do with speculation, we'll just have to wait until there's real proof of any of it before anything can be done.

Of course, I could be wrong.....
