The "Strategic Emergency Plan" that details the response to a terrorist attack or outbreak in the capital has been unveiled after four years of planning.

It makes interesting reading indeed.

London Prepared: The Strategic Emergency Plan (.pdf)

The Strategic Emergency Plan is a blueprint for effective handling of any disruptive incident in the Capital. It is an example of collaborative working across all those in the London Resilience Partnership, including the substantive work of LESLP, who are committed to making London a safer, more resilient place.

Thanks for sharing, this is very interesting. Now, question-I know this may sound naive-but do a lot of countries have this in place? The US I know has some similar process, not sure if it's as thorough-but is this a common theme these days?
