2020 American election also going on

I know theres been a lot going on in 2020 what with Covid, Gretas melting ice cubes and the death of Sir Sean (007! RIP Sir!), but id like to highlight another important, if overlooked, issue that is also happening in 2020.

In America, (population 300+ million) they are having an election to see who will be in charge of the country. This election, due to the polarized social-economic/political viewpoints could have a major impact on world politics given that they used to have a major input into global politics.

Although they are now seen as more of a social media celebrity status on the world stage, and that they have disassociated themselves from any serious world issues, such as the iran sanctions, climate accord, immigration, education, healthcare, economy, evolution, law enforcement, they still have an mpact on global affairs as to who wants to be seen to distance from them first.

Obviously the figurehead of either party will have little/no relevance on election decision made, but we should keep an eye on which junta starts on top before the shouty shouty begins.

Needless to say it will be business as usual Jan 20th once the head is pushed in, and those suburban bake sales kick off, and theres no more malls within a 5mile radius to loot.
