Hi everybody, not saying we have it better or worse than the global lock-down culture.

Here are some things we have experienced since we went into lock-down on March 26, 2020.

A major feature of that "Level 5" lockdown was a ban on the sale of all alcohol and cigarettes.

Monday, level 3 (1st of June 2020), we may sell alcohol again, but tobacco remains strictly prohibited.

Alcohol I can somewhat understand but why ban tobacco?

Your video isn't working btw.

Well, it’s basically because 19 members of our parliament have been granted the ability to do what they want.
Due to ‘state of emergency’ the constitution has been placed on hold. The 19 members of the NCCP have ultimate power.
Many of these members have hands in the underground sale and manufacturing of tobacco.

Our politicians killed the legal tobacco trade so they can make money.
Simple as that

On the cigarette ban (although the black market is flourishing), Minister Zuma claims it is for health purposes, but others claim it is because her connections run the illegal tobacco market.

But alcohol and ciggies are just the tip of discussions and conspiracies.

Now people being deprived of an income need food.

And there were supposed to be all kinds of grants and food parcels, which have allegedly been distributed along political and even racial lines (if at all).

For a point of view and more, see for example, The Hawk's channel.

Then there were also Cuban "doctors" (ideological friends of the ANC), who were supposedly deployed (some say these are not qualified doctors but trainees from Cuba) at an alleged (the government simply refuses to deny or confirm it) of R440 million.

That's disgraceful. I heard things were bad down there and I guess Ive been graciously ignorant. I know 3 families that moved from SA in the last 10 years too, they never spoke specifics just that SA is getting bad.

The world came down heavy on SA for apartheid, which is totally understandable. What's the world to do about SA now? Ignore it?

Sad times I feel for y'all. I feel that's why my white SA friends never wanted to talk about it... Because it is a racial thing.

Now internally there are many conspiracy theories.

A leftist cult within the ANC has taken over control, led by Dr Zuma.

They want the complete destruction of the middle class.

President Ramaphosa is no longer in control.

Who knows, others say he is in control.

I’m white, so no benefits for me, ever. We get taxed like nobodies business, the money runs into politicians bank accounts and never gets used for public benefit.

And every 4 years they buy votes with kfc and t-shirts.
I was hoping SA would get economic sanctions placed on us, since we’ve basically lost all our rights.
Our government sold us out to China, and now we’re in for a rough ride.

I was planning on getting out this year, quit my job in Feb, had enough money saved up etc.
I thought SA might be different, but politicians are the same across africa.

Personally I blame ego, people think culture is precious and should be protected, even if it’s detrimental.

And don't think it's only poor townships where abuse is going on.

You know, a lot been going on, and I can't explain it all.

Please also see channels like "loving Life" on YouTube.

But I must say, the weirdest part of tobacco prohibition came when Police Minister Cele said: If we catch you smoking outside now, you must produce a till slip of where you got the cigarettes.
Otherwise we assume you bought them illegally!
zonknews.com...

Nope, you can't make that up.
If somebody said in your country, nope, not only are cigarettes illegal, but you need to have kept the receipt from 3 months ago, to prove they're legal?

Yip, that's exactly what's happening to 8-11 million smokers in SA.

Imagine the state just pulled down the blinds on the cigarette counter.

No tobacco products, no pipes no papers - nothing.
For two months now, and no end in sight.

Can people be forced to stop smoking?

Dr. Zuma thinks this will result in a sizeable number of people quitting the habit:
www.businesslive.co.za...

Now a lot of people might think that's a politician who's lost touch with reality.
And indeed, we think she has.

I've been following SA through all this and long before. It is appalling what they are doing to people there and in particular those of non-black ethnicity. No food packages for you! Un-flipping-beleivable. You can't work to earn a living and any food aid MUST come through the government (you give the food to the gov for distribution). I don't know if the government has yet given food aid to any Whites there yet.

They arrest mothers on the beach for chasing down a 2 year old child, people out jogging even though it is during the "correct" hours to do so. I thought the ANC was pathetic and onerous before covid19 but as always incompetence and greed can always find new lows to sink to.
