UPDATE: Better Than Edit?

I think it's a pretty good idea that would make ATS better. When you edit something, you're simply making changes to grammatical errors or adding in a word or two. It's kind of like grading a paper or doing a spell check. Plus the link goes away after a few hours anyway. With UPDATE, you have the ability to add in extra more pertinent information in the original post weeks or even months down the line with the opportunity to get that UPDATE generated in the recent posts page. It actually helps RECYCLE old threads that may not have been forgotten about by the original poster but hidden from other people because usually old posts aren't read as much as recent posts, or popular posts that are old, and may never be read if they're over a month old. UPDATE is simply BETTER than edit.
