Now we've hit an all time low... A 1 star general (deputy commander of the prison) has been included in a brand spankin' new sex scandal at yet another US Military prison.

It really looks as though the peter principle is at work in the US Military... Makes sense when you think about it...

You have a limited pool of managers and many different missions. Combat management being the most critical and thus getting the BEST managers (Generals), and babysitting prisoners being one of the least critical.

That sounds logical until you dig a little deeper into the current reality.

We are now engaged in prison keeping at a level nearly equal to combat since the main push of the Iraq conflict is over. Also, we are being judged by how we treat the vanquished and captured enemy, and rightly so.

I think it's time to rethink the management positions at all of our military prisons. Problem is, what awesome General is going to want THAT job?!

Civilian contractors overseen by a crew of expert military minds may be one answer. Bottom line is we NEED a new answer.

Well is sad to see 4 grown officers losing their ranks for moments of fun with women that were not their wives.

This type of things happen, but taken in consideration what is going on with the prisioners in Guantanamo, it is for sure that a lot attention will be given to this officers misconduct.

Put some boys and girls a long way from home in a closed environment and changes are nature will have it's way, I just think that higher ranking personnel has more appeal to the nurses....

I dug a little deeper and came up with names - something MSNBC and CBS evidently couldn't do.
