To vote in the primaries. They don't want Republicans choosing the Democrat candidate and vice-versa. Independents probably don't want Dems or Repubs choosing the Independent candidate.


I'm aware why they would want to, but I'm asking how would this be accomplished. Also...what about independent people...that maybe support a certain candidate, but are not affiliated with a party ? They would lose those votes, no ?

Ok...you have a point since it's the primary. But how would one go about ensuring that, since it would probably go down to a statement ?
