Need to play my 16 bit game on my 64 bit computer...but how?

DOS is 8 bit
For any DOS games DOSBox will run em all

For Windows 16 bit Games ?
Run in Windows 95/98 Compatibility mode
Check -" Disable Full Screen Optimization" and may have to check "Run in 640 x 480 Mode"
Using those 2 , you can run any game

I have some Popcap hidden object games
I have to change the settings as follows
*compatible Windows 7
*reduce color
*640 x 480
*override DPI
screen goes crazy but settles down and works

Problem with that (the VM) is that unless he has a Win98 installation disk, we can't help.... though google could, in a pinch

Even the Internet Archive could..

But the newer remake seems to make the people who were addicted to this 20 years ago squee.. I have no idea what I was doing with it, but they seem to think it's spot on.

Still cannot run a Windows based game in it. Only Dos based games.

Found a way around it all.. I went in the barn to dig up my old worthless computers and been able to make one work. It runs on Vista, a 2.4 GHz CPU,, 2Gb RAM, 80 Gb HD and a videocard able to just run the game. To run it on the highest graphics levels I will search ebay for the fastest AGP card from the time. Must be a bargain today... Any suggestions what AGP card that would be... I have now an ATI Radeon HD2400 series in it.. Must be able to much better than that

I was going to upload my old Millennium Virtual Box (from Microsoft) up to a private server to you .
I was unable to find it.
