With the quakes up farther north, I think this is a bad omen. It could all be small quakes relieving stress though, it does not have to be a major event.

I was going to post this, but I see someone already did.

For the last 16 hours, the west coast has been rattling.

It makes me nervous.

Sun Valley has been pretty active lately too.

Sun Valley earthquake swarm continues, at one point producing 60 quakes in a matter of hours

An earthquake swarm continues to quietly rumble below Sun Valley north of Reno, at one point producing more than 60 temblors in a span of just a few hours. The swarm, which started in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 19, has so far only produced small quakes, not strong enough to be felt by humans on the surface.

Small, but active.

I felt it, barely, in Fort Bragg, CA (roughly 60 miles away). Was reading on the bed and it felt like one of those old shaking beds that some hotels used to have.

Only for about 5 seconds though. I immediately checked the USGS site as an earthquake was the most likely reason.

Those beds.... You instantly reminded me of the bed in the original National Lampoon's Vacation movie. "This is crazy, this is crazy, this is crazy!"

Just found this u-tube vid.
I think I've said "get out of California" at least 50 times.
