Thinking outside the box, yet never forgetting reason, logic and healthy skepticism is difficult to portray with a single representative figure. Maybe ATS could be better represented by a group of four or five, like the Fantastic Four. Each super-dude/super-gal represents a different aspect. The members might be something like:

Captain Logic (or a robot figure called "Robot Logic", "Logitrix", "Logitron" or "Prime Logic")

The Investigator (similar style to the dude in The_Libra's avatar, but maybe with a bionic eye or something funky like that)

Dr. Hypothesis

And the boss of them all...

Skeptic Overlord


Failing that, you could always go with The Baldinator...

What's wrong with Skeptic Overlord. I think an important component of denying ignorance is a healthy skepticism. Skeptic Overlord stalks a world of conspiracy theories sorting out truth from fiction.
